Since her earliest days, Henriette has sought ways to reflect all that is happening inside of her.
At this time of her life, her preferred methods of communication are writing and painting. In both media, she passes on a depth of wisdom and insight, gained through her own experiences.
It is her hope that her work will touch and inspire you on your journey.
Henriette has a very diverse background. She has lived in various European countries and her work and studies span a range of segments. It is therefore not surprising that her paintings are multi-faceted and many-layered. Never satisfied to stay within the boundaries, Henriette is on a constant journey to explore new territory. Different styles and techniques form a part of this diverse expression.
Henriette’s work is often described as ‘organic’ and indeed, much of her inspiration is found in natural forms, imagined or tangible. Her series of paintings named ‘Dreamlands’ seek to touch and to heal wherever they go. They are principally designed for places where people seek inspiration and encouragement- hospitals, spiritual venues and business buildings to name a few.
Based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, Henriette lives together with her partner and has 2 adult children.
